A rebuilt powertrain product replaces only what failed. A remanufactured unit is disassembled down to the bare castings, measured against OE tolerances, machined, fitted with all-new wear components, and thoroughly tested before leaving the factory. Engine cores are disassembled down to bare blocks and major castings followed by a thorough cleaning.
Castings are cleaned, magnafluxed, and measured against OE tolerance. Out-of-spec cores are discarded and recycled.
Block surfaces are decked, bored, and honed. Cylinder heads are inspected for cracks, fitted with multi-angle valve seat cuts, and milled for flatness.
Engines are assembled in specialized pods by trained, certified builders working in dedicated production cells.
Popular gas engines undergo computerized, live testing to inspect oil pressure, compression, vacuum, and operating temperatures.
Buys a finished unit from a third party, warehouses it, and ships it. No build record, no control over tolerance, warranty administered by someone else.
Owns the teardown, the machining, the assembly, and the test cell. Build sheet and dyno record ship with the unit; the warranty is ours to honor.
